San Benito County United is an Independent Community Publication: a noncommercial community information and commentary website.
We are an independent, noncommercial publication, not a business or a government agency. We do not sell products or services.
Our mission
To encourage informed public participation through accessible records, careful reporting, transparent sourcing, clearly labeled commentary, and community perspectives.
Our independence
This publication is not owned, sponsored, or endorsed by San Benito County or any government agency. Geographic references identify the area of coverage only.
Our approach
We aim to distinguish what documents establish, what sources allege, what remains unverified, and what constitutes opinion.
